Computers

Everywhere you look these days you'll see a device that can do some of the things a computer can do. But if you want the full functionality of a computer you may still wish to purchase a desktop or a laptop.

If you want to build your own computer or just buy one but don't really understand technical specs, a good place to start is a web site called Tom's hardware. There you'll find a wealth of information and you can learn a lot there.

But if you're shopping around on the store shelves and want a general idea, look for these:

-Intel Core i3, i5, or i7
-4 to 8 GB of RAM or more
-500GB of Hard Disk space or more

A computer with these components will probably be a well performing machine that you will be happy with.
